Impact and Action is a virtual science-policy symposium co-hosted by the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), the U.S. National Science Foundation and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), examining how we strengthen and consolidate scientific impact in the next two decades and beyond.
TDWG 2021 will be a virtual conference the week of Oct 18-22. Working sessions for interest and task groups will follow in November.

The GBIF Governing Board GB27 was scheduled in parallel with the Biodiversity Summit 2020 in Washington. Notice that the Biodiversity Summit is postponed to 2021 -- and that GB27 in 2020 will be organized as an online conference.
The 27th GBIF Governing Board meeting (GB27) will be a virtual meeting, taking place 20, 21, and 22 October 2020. The meeting is open to registered GBIF Heads of Delegation, committee members, and GBIF Secretariat staff. GBIF Heads of Delegation have the possibility to nominate up to two additional delegates to join the meeting.
Online Data Carpentry Ecology (October 14-16) and Genomics (October 21-23) workshops at Nord University is open for participants from all university students in Norway.
