The Norwegian GBIF node has participated in stakeholder meetings for the OpenEPI to integrate the GBIF portal services to the platform.

Participants are invited to create innovative digital solutions using open data from OpenEPI (and beyond) that contribute to one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Your solution must:
- Use at least one open dataset accessible via OpenEPI
- Include a GitHub repo, documentation, and a pitch
- Be relevant, feasible, and well-documented
Participants may register as individuals or teams. Those without a team will be matched after the registration deadline to form diverse, interdisciplinary groups.
Each team must submit:
- A link to a GitHub repo containing their project code
- A written description and documentation of the solution
Finalists will be invited to a fully-funded, two-day in-person Grand Finale event.
